The core activities of the public company Vodovod - kanalizacija are:

• Supplying the settlements with water. The water is pumped in the water supply facilities in Kleče, Šentvid, Hrastje, Jarški prod and Brest. We maintain the central water supply system of the city of Ljubljana and local water supply systems in the surrounding areas. All water supply system facilities intended for pumping, re-pumping and storage of water are automated and controlled by a remote system. The water supply network takes care that water gets right to your house; it covers about 1000 km.
• Drainage and treatment of waste water. The used and meteoric water is drained through the sewage system to the waste water treatment plants and after it has been cleaned it is returned to the environment. We maintain the central sewage system of the city of Ljubljana and local sewage systems in the surrounding areas.
• Management of all water supply and sewage system facilities and devices.
