GENERAL INFORMATION
LPP bus schedules are located on every large bus stop; detailed information about bus schedules, current prices and types of fares are also available on the web site www.lpp.si and at LPP Information Centre, Slovenska 56, 1000 Ljubljana, T: 00386 (0)1 430 51 74.
Entering and exiting is permitted only on bus stops. The payment of the fare respectively registration with the electronic ticket is carried out on entry. Children up to the age of six must be accompanied by their parents or other adults. Smoking, eating and drinking are not allowed on the bus. Inflammable, explosive, toxic or other hazardous materials, firearms and other objects prohibited by law may not be brought onto the bus. In accordance with the Busbonton we ask passengers not to speak to the driver during the ride, to give up their seat to older people, consider the needs of people with special needs and to pay attention to LPP property.
ACQUISITION AND RENEWAL OF THE ELECTRONIC TICKET
The electronic ticket can be acquired with an identity document on Slovenska cesta 56 in Ljubljana (LPP Information Centre), in only a few minutes. The payment can be settled with cash, payment or credit card. The ticket is issued on passenger’s name and includes the information on the type of fare. The deposit for the ticket is 4 EUR, which is reimbursed if the ticket is returned undamaged.
The electronic ticket can be renewed at the following points of sale: Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana, Naklo Logatec, Pav Vrhnika, intermediary in the sale Agencija M Servis d.o.o. Ivančna Gorica and Lunga – Grosuplje. On the ticket, a type of fare and passenger’s name and surname are computer printed.
TYPES OF FARES
- Time ticket – valid for a certain period on the selected route.
- Quantity ticket - valid for a certain number of rides on the defined distance and within a certain route or routes, which are stated on the ticket, enables changes. Discount is offered for the purchase of several rides: a 5 percent discount for the purchase of 10-29 rides and a 10 precent discount for the purchase of over 30 rides. Unused rides can be used als in the event of price increases.
- Value ticket – valid for a certain value. The value ticket can be used on any route in the network of lines of the suburban passenger transport. The value of the ticket decreases with every ride with regard to the amount of the fare. In the case of purchase of a ticket worth between 20 and 59.99 EUR, five percent of the value of the ticket is added, while 10 percent are added to the value of the ticket in the event of purchase of a ticket in the value of over 60 EUR. The ride can also be paid with cash on entry.
COURSE OF TRANSACTION
On entry you simply put the electronic ticket close to the registrator, which recognizes the entry on your ticket and carries out the appropriate transaction for future travels.
CHILDREN’S TICKETS
If you intend to purchase tickets for family members, you need to submit their and your identity documents. The child’s personal safety increases with the use of the electronic ticket as the child no longer carries money (the ticket is labelled with the name and surname and cannot be transferred) and parents also provide for the transport safety of the child because the child uses safe bus transport.
DISCOUNTS
Children up to the age of four are exempt from paying fares. Children between the ages of four and ten years have a 50 percent discount on the fare.
TRANSFER OF PUSH-CHAIRS, LUGGAGE OR ANIMALS
There is no additional charge for personal luggage (up to 10 kg), wheelchairs and push-chairs. It is prohibited to transport animals, safe dogs, hunting and police dogs and the mountain rescue service dogs, which must be on a leash, have a muzzle and a valid vaccination certificate.

HIRE LPP BUS
LPP buses offer comfort and safety during travelling. The vehicles fullfil the requirements of the valid regulation and are equipped with the ABS system, ASR, safety belts on exposed seats and a system that allows the driving off the bus stop only with closed doors.
