Management system policy
The management system policies are the following:
- Provide modern, safe, reliable and customer-tailored public transport and other services.
- Remain a respected, trustworthy and reliable business partner for the customers and the competent national authorities in the area of carrying out controls in control bodies.
- When carrying out controls in control bodies comply with the requirements of the regulations and the documentation of the quality system by taking into account the principles of independence, impartiality and fairness.
- Always increase the satisfaction of customers, business partners, social environment representatives and employees in accordance with the business determinations and abilities of the company.
- Manage and reduce the harmful impacts on the environment in all steps of business processes.
- Prevent the harmful impacts on the underground water at the location of the company which is located on a water protection area.
- Provide constant improvement of working conditions and reduce the risks that influence the safety and health at work of the employees and the contractual partners.
- Constant improvement of the management system.
- Modernisation and improvement of security and protection of people and property of LPP d.o.o.
- Introduction of modernisation in those areas of safety, which face new security challenges, with uncertainty related to security and the problems of modernisation in a way that guarantees a higher level of security of the company’s activities.
- Setting up efficient security system management.
- Protection of competitive advantages in the area of all activities of the company.
These policies are achieved:
- by performing the activities in accordance with the set procedures and documented methods in line with the established management system;
- by constantly improving the technological equipment in the area of all of the company’s activities;
- by ensuring regular expert training of the employees for improving their skills and raising the level of competence;
- by creating conditions for satisfied and qualified workers, since such a worker can contribute to the successful performance of the company;
- by creating conditions for stimulating the employees in line with the performed work and the results;
- by selecting the suppliers on the basis of the measures and their relationship towards the environment;
- by modernising the information support to operations and well-defined and managed work processes;
- with the activities for increasing the satisfaction of the customers, the employees, a broader society and permanent activities for improving the relationship with the environment;
- by reducing the exhaust gases;
- by prudent management of vehicles, including efficient consumption of fuel as an element of environmental protection,
- by participating in the programme of the reduction of waste generation at the source as far as possible;
- by monitoring, taking immediate actions and reducing all significant environmental aspects;
- by reducing the consumption of primary water and electricity;
- by efficiently managing the assets needed for work and appropriately handling dangerous substances and constantly reducing the pollution of technological waste water;
- by integration in the centralised system of public transport in the broader Ljubljana region;
- by constant improvement and development of existing and new procedures and services in terms of quality, environmental protection, prevention of danger and work-related risks;
- by constant improvement of working conditions and reduction of workplace risks that influence the safety and health at work of the employees and the contractual partners.
- by taking into account the legislation regulating environmental protection, health and safety at work and security and protection;
- by raising the employees’ awareness on environmental management and providing information about the environmental aspects for all those who work for or on behalf of the company;
- by forwarding the management system policy (environmental policy) to the broader public (the Internet, etc.).
The said policy and guidelines are implemented by means of clearly defined framework goals and concrete implementation objectives which are laid down in the annual operating plan.
